We at Pure Power Performance have a passion for automobiles. Like you, we strive to make every car, truck, and S.U.V. stand out from the crowd. We love lifting, lowering, outfitting, and adding power to just about anything. The guys in the shop have been working on cars and trucks their whole lives and wouldn’t rather be doing anything else.

We try to get involved in almost every aspect of automobiles, be it on our own or with friends. We have done everything from rock crawling and mud drags, to drag racing and dirt track cars. We try to support our local tracks such as Shady Oaks Speedway and Texana Raceway Park by racing when time allows.

We started this business in 2002 because there wasn’t any other shop in town that really specialized in performance and off-road at that time. Even before then, working on cars and trucks was a weekly, if not daily, thing. We would make our own vehicles taller, faster, louder, whatever, or we would help friends and family work on their rides. I’ve always been told that if you love your job, it’s not really work. Well, that may not always be the case but it sure does help. It may not always be “fun” pulling a transmission but when we give the car back and everything is running exactly the way it’s supposed to and our customers are happy, well, there’s no better feeling, unless, of course, it’s your car.

Pure Power Performance has been selling and installing performance and off-road parts since we opened the doors, and we know a thing or two about going fast and going big. We only sell parts we can install ourselves so that if our customers do decide they want to tackle a project on their own, we can help them out if they get stuck. We also only sell products we would be comfortable installing on our own vehicles.

We strive to give customers exactly what they want but, don’t want to see them get something they won’t be completely happy with or that might not be as good as a similar product. We want our customers to get the most out of their products for the least amount of money so everyone is happy. Yes, we work on cars and we are in this business for money, however, we aren’t trying to get rich and certainly don’t believe in making all our money off of one person. Our policy is to be open and honest about everything we do so that at the end of the day you, as a customer, feel like you are doing business with a friend. We will gladly help you in making your decisions by offering advice, giving you our own experiences, or telling you the pros and cons of anything you are looking into doing.
